These halls were demolished because the cost of renovation exceeded replacement. Baker-Park and Gardner-Hyde Halls are being replaced by Mid-Campus Housing and Sister buildings The complex that Baker-Park and Gardner-Hyde is part of originally included four buildings. Two buildings (Hadley-Major and Dockery-Folk) were purchased by University Hospital and Clinics to be used as offices. These two buildings will not be demolished, and will continue to be used by the Hospital.
