Residential Life has informed the contractor to inform subs of the new smoking policy (no smoking within twenty feet of doors, windows and intake vents on University owned or leased property) and make sure they abide by the requirement.

Baker-Park/Gardner-Hyde Demolition

These halls were demolished because the cost of renovation exceeded replacement. Baker-Park and Gardner-Hyde Halls are being replaced by Mid-Campus Housing. Baker-Park and Gardner-Hyde were part of a complex that originally included four buildings. Two buildings (Hadley-Major and Dockery-Folk) were purchased by University Hospital and Clinics to be used as offices. These two buildings will be demolished by the hospital this fall to make way for their new high-rise building.
