In June 2003, the Mark Twain Mechanical Upgrade was the first RLMP project completed! The existing 2-pipe heating/air conditioning system, original to the building, was replaced with a new four-pipe system. This new system allows students greater control over the temperatures within their student rooms. This project required replacing individual fan coil units within each student room, prompting Residential Life to close the Residence Hall for Winter Semester 2003.
