More than ever, students want to be a part of the Mizzou experience - from getting a great education to spending their freshman year (and beyond) in a residence hall. If you're ready to start the process of living and learning at Mizzou, feel free to explore the site for information on our residence halls or apartments, the Tiger Guide (the rules and regs for living on campus), and much more!
If you would like to apply for housing for Spring 2012, check out our Spring Housing page.
We are excited you're on your way to living at Mizzou! When you apply to Mizzou, you will receive our brochures in the mail. Housing 101 comes out in the fall, and Housing 201 arrives in your mailbox in early spring (usually sometime in March). Housing 201 contains exact dates for when the Housing and Dining Contract will be available to students. It also contains information on our Learning Communities and Freshmen Interest Groups, which are the foundation of our residence hall programs. Everyone who lives in a residence hall will be in a Learning Community, so check out our options for the details!
After you've signed your contract in early spring, you will then have access to ROAR (Residents' Online Access to Rooms) to pick your room by picking your FIG or Learning Community space (they are connected!). One important thing to remember is that your application date to Mizzou directly affects your access to ROAR. We will determine the exact dates in early spring, but earlier is always better!
Mizzou gives priority for housing to first-time college freshmen; however we were able to accommodate a very limited number of transfer students for the 2011-12 academic year. More information will be available in Spring 2012 on the possibility of offering transfer student housing for the 2012-13 academic year.
