Hatch is located on the eastern part of the MU campus and houses approximately 520 men and women. Within Hatch are many learning community options, including FIGs and Sponsored Learning Communities. In these communities, students work closely with faculty mentors to enhance their learning experiences. Classrooms, conference and meeting rooms are available for all residents of Hatch Hall.

Hatch offers single gender and coed floors. Coed floors house men and women on different wings of the building. Hatch shares common space with residents of Schurz Hall in adjacent Bingham Hall. Bingham contains the mail room, a carry-out dining facility, and a large meeting/classroom area ideal for study groups.
