Hatch is located on the eastern part of the MU campus and houses approximately 520 men and women. Within Hatch are many living-learning community options, including FIGs and Learning Communities.

Hatch offers coed floors that house men and women on different wings of the building. Hatch shares common space with residents of Schurz Hall in adjacent Bingham Hall. Bingham contains a carry-out dining facility, meeting rooms, a large classroom area ideal for study groups and computer stations for use by residents of Hatch, Schurz and College Avenue.
