Johnston Hall houses approximately 290 women. It is a popular hall due to its central location and a great sense of community. Johnston has small laundry rooms and study lounges on each floor.
Johnston offers a lot of involvement opportunities. Johnston Hall Council (JHC) includes representatives from each house in the building as well as an extensive executive board. In the past, JHC has planned events such as blood drives, tours of the Black Culture Center, Welcome Week Socials, Homecoming floats and activities, and educational programs. In addition, each house has a government modeled after JHC with endless leadership opportunities. Johnston also has a popular book club.
