The Education Learning Community

The Education Learning Community is a living and learning environment designed by and for education majors. In this vibrant community, students majoring in any area within the field of education are able to share knowledge and experiences with one another. Residents form unique support groups that help community members grow both academically and professionally.

Community Goals

The Education Learning Community provides opportunities for education majors to become better educators. In an effort to provide a unique living environment for education majors, students in this community:


Freshman Interest Groups (FIGs)

The Education Learning Community also houses freshman interest groups (FIGs) that relate to its overall goals and objectives. Two Tomorrow’s Teachers FIG groups have been concurrently active within the community.

Please note: The nature and availability of specific figs may change in order to adapt to the needs of both the Learning Community and participating students.
