
The Honors Learning Community was one of the first sponsored learning communities on the MU campus. This diverse group is perfect for students who enjoy intellectual challenge and desire an environment that is conducive to success in their rigorous academic programs. Located in Gillett and Hudson Halls, these popular communities are proud of their active student involvement and they continue to create new traditions. To live in the Honors Learning Community, residents must be admitted to the Honors College.

Community Goals
The Honors Learning Community was originally designed by Honors College students and faculty who desired to create a community of scholars. Students in this community:
Freshman Interest Groups (FIGs)
The Honors Learning Community also houses several freshman interest groups (FIGs) that relate to its overall goals and objectives. Some FIGs that have been part of this Learning Community include Honors Pre-Medicine, Honors Pre-Law and Honors Engineering.
Please note: The nature and availability of specific figs may change in order to adapt to the needs of both the sponsored learning community and participating students.
