
The Natural Resources Learning Community emphasizes various aspects of natural resource conservation and utilization: fisheries; wildlife; forestry; parks, recreation & tourism; atmospheric sciences and soil science. Students interested in working in a natural resource, conservation or environmental field find opportunities for career exploration within this community.

Residents in the Natural Resources learning community share a common interest in the outdoors and preserving the natural envitonment. Students in this community:
Freshman Interest Groups (FIGs)
The Natural Resources Learning Community also houses freshman interest groups (FIGs) that relate to its overall goals and objectives. Two of the FIGs that have been part of this Learning Community are Natural Resources and Storm Chasers.
Please note: The nature and availability of specific figs may change in order to adapt to the needs of both the Learning Community and participating students.
