The Nursing Learning Community

The Nursing Learning Community is an innovative living-learning environment for pre-nursing, clinical nursing and Nursing Scholar students. As a member of this community, residents work with Nursing faculty and staff as well as residence hall staff to create activities and opportunities that support academic success.

Community Goals

The Nursing Learning Community is dedicated to students in an academically rigorous program who are considering nursing as a career. In order to maintain a community that supports learning, participants:


Freshman Interest Groups (FIGs)

The Nursing Learning Community also houses two Nursing freshman interest groups (FIGs) that relate to its overall goals and objectives.

Please note: The nature and availability of specific figs may change in order to adapt to the needs of both the Learning Community and participating students.
