The Pathways Learning Community

Career & Major Exploration

The Pathways Learning Community provides an ideal environment for students undecided about major and career options at MU. Participants learn about themselves and utilize that knowledge to determine which professional and academic paths are most beneficial for them. Students also explore their values and aspirations using goal-setting programs and discover the wide variety of major and career options designed to fit their attributes.

Community Goals

The goal of the Pathways Learning Community is to help students successfully transition to MU and understand their future professional options. Residents will:


Freshman Interest Groups (FIGs)

The Pathways Learning Community also houses several freshman interest groups (FIGs) that relate to its overall goals and objectives.

Please note: The nature and availability of specific figs may change in order to adapt to the needs of both the Learning Community and participating students.
