
The Prevet Learning Community is designed for students interested in exploring the field of veterinary medicine. This community offers support and opportunities for academic and professional growth through activities specifically designed for students. In addition, it allows pre-veterinary students to live and learn with others who share their academic interests.

Community Goals
The Animal Sciences Unit and Residential Life established this student-based Learning Community for students who are dedicated to pursuing a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. In this community, students will:
Freshman Interest Groups (FIGs)
The Pre-Veterinary Medicine Learning Community also houses freshman interest groups (FIGs) that relate to its overall goals and objectives. Pre-Veterinary Medicine has had two general-interest FIGs as part of this Learning Community.
Please note: The nature and availability of specific figs may change in order to adapt to the needs of both the Learning Community and participating students.
