Your Residence Hall Contract
Probably one of the most important pieces of information you need from us is the Residence Hall contract. Before logging into ROAR, you must have submitted your e-signature for this contract. You must submit your $300 pre-payment with the contract or mark the box for Financial Aid to cover the pre-payment. It's a good idea to print a copy of the contract for your own records. By submitting the contract online (here) you accepted the terms of the contract.

Your Assignment
If you receive a manual assignment, an e-mail should be sent to your Mizzou e-mail account. Regardless of whether you receive an e-mail, your assignment will be available online through myZou under "Self Service." From there, you can look up your housing assignment. If, by the time you come to move in, you don't have an assignment, you will need to stop by the Residential Life office to pick up your assignment.
The most common reasons for not receiving an assignment e-mail are:
- ROAR closed before you made a decision about coming to MU
- By the time you logged into ROAR, spaces weren't available
Note: Assignments are made through an automated process so you cannot be hand-assigned if you missed any deadlines - you will need to wait until final assignments are made in August.
