Help us make some room

As many of you know, Defoe & Graham Hall are closing at the end of this semester - that right, just 6 short weeks from now. Once that happens, students from Defoe & Graham will be relocated to residence halls across campus. We know from past experience that we'll have room for Defoe/Graham students, but when they move, things will be tight - and if you don't have one now, you will get a roommate.

In the meantime, there are some things that you can do to help us make room for students from Defoe or Graham.

  1. If you are currently without a roommate and have a friend who is also without a roommate, move in together. This will open up a completely open room for the Defoe/Graham students who'd like to move with their roommate. If you plan to do this, though, make sure to contact your Area Secretary to receive approval before making any moves so he or she can make sure we have an accurate count for and location of empty spaces.

  2. If you do not have a roommate and don't have a friend to move in with, make sure that you keep your stuff on your half of the room. Your newly assigned roommate could move in at any time, so stay prepared by leaving them space for their stuff.
