The Tiger Guide is MU's official student handbook for campus. It includes all the rules and regulations for living in the residence halls (titled "Living in the Residence Halls"), as well as important information about campus resources. The Tiger Guide also contains an academic year calendar/planner for students' use. Tiger Guides are distributed to all students who live in the residence halls. When students sign the residence hall contract, they acknowledge that they must comply with the policies, procedures, and guidelines outlined in the Tiger Guide.
Students are responsible for reading through the Tiger Guide to familiarize themselves with the information concerning residence hall living, titled "Living on Campus". Parents are also encouraged to read through the "Living on Campus" section of the Tiger Guide and to discuss the importance of these rules with their students.
